These new C-Max carbide tools from GRS will increase the efficiency of stone-setters and engravers. Stone-setters will save time removing the metal between and around stones when using pavé and other setting techniques. Engravers can shape small gravers without having to use a blank that is much too big for the job.

The C-Max carbide gravers with a 2.35-mm shaft are available with diameters rising in 0.2-mm gradations from 0.8 mm to 2.2 mm.

A finely-tapered point perfect for texturing or stippling is also available.

These gravers are specially made for engravers, stone setters, and other craftsmen to combine the ability to hold a precise edge with the toughness needed to cut through many engravable metals. Years of development have produced a tungsten carbide graver with the right blend of hardness and toughness for hand engraving and stone setting applications.
