GRS Products
GRS is a product range of Glendo LLC, a company founded in Emporia, Kansas, USA in 1977. The range is based on compressed air engraving systems, which apply the revolutionary idea of finding a source of power that both reduces the exertion required for engraving work and makes it possible to guide tools more precisely. This aimed to both generate more accurate results and save time. Following years of development together with Emporia State University, the now fully developed engraving system is available in three configurations: GraverMach™ AT, GraverMax™ G8 and GraverSmith™. These tools rapidly conquered the US market and are now taking Europe and Asia by storm, thanks to new dealers. They have been field-tested in their thousands and are now the undisputed global market leader.
Over the years, the extremely innovative company Glendo LLC has also developed many aids and tools. All of these products were put through their paces by the world’s leading engravers and stone setters (Grand Masters) before being launched on the market and any feedback is constantly incorporated into product development. This gradually resulted in a complete GRS product range that covers all stone setting and engraving needs. The benefits of accurate tool guidance and time savings have since been recognised by other professions. Gunsmiths, knife manufacturers, woodcarvers, archaeologists, and even restorers of historical plaster structures successfully use GRS tools. They get better results, generate less waste and save a lot of time during production.
Thanks to an outstanding reputation and increasing approval, even more apprentices around the world are being trained to use these tools. This edition of the catalogue introduces many new GRS products. The greatly developed BenchMate Encore deserves a special mention. These innovative updates to an industry standard provide better and faster methods for everyday work. No other clamping device fixes jewellery as securely as the GRS BenchMate while providing more freedom of movement for work, with or without a microscope.
